Dr. Prasad Katulanda is one of Sri Lanka’s leading consultant endocrinologists and diabetologists as well as Chairman of CDEM. He is one of the most sought-after consultants in the South Asian region and has committed himself to the fight against diabetes and its related-complications here in Sri Lanka.

Dr. Gaya Katulanda is a leading chemical pathologist in the country whose main focus is quality assurance in laboratory testing. She is currently a consultant at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital and has several years of experience both locally as well as in the UK.

One of the country’s topmost interventional cardiologists, Dr. Vajira Senaratne is also a consultant cardiologist at the Institute of Cardiology in Colombo, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. While having pioneered Percutaneous Transvenous Mitral Commissurotomy (PTMC) in Sri Lanka.

CDEM prides itself on having one of the country’s leading sexual dysfunction clinics as well as the services of Dr. Lasantha Malavige, who revolutionised the practice of sexual medicine in Sri Lanka. Being the country’s first sexologist, Dr. Malavige was trained in Oxford, UK and obtained a Diploma in Psychosexual Medicine.

Dr. Rezni Cassim is one of Sri Lanka best and most respected vascular and transplant surgeons. He has endeared himself to his patients in Sri Lanka, Maldives and India, with his compassionate demeanour, and has also come to become one of the most trusted hands with his remarkable surgical skills.

He is a leading urologist in Sri Lanka. Considered one of the best eye surgeons in Sri Lanka, Dr. Charith Fonseka has rendered a mammoth service to those with eye diseases. He has helped countless patients during his service of several decades as a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the National Eye Hospital in Colombo.

Dr. Gotabhaya Ranasinghe is the Consultant Cardiologist at the National Hospital of Sri Lanka and also Honorary Consultant Cardiologist to the Sri Lanka Navy holding the rank of Surgeon Commodore. He is a leading general and interventional Cardiologist in the country.
