Our mandate is not limited to the comprehensive care of a multi-disciplinary medical team but also educating patients and their families on diabetes, with the view of enhancing their quality of life as well as protecting future generations from the clutches of diabetes.
The unique services at CDEM include a state-of-the art medical laboratory, a pharmacy, advanced 2-D Echo cardiography and ultra-sound scanning, the Obesity Care and Dietary Advice Centre, a Physiotherapy Unit, the Foot Care Centre, a wound care clinic, an easily accessible outpatient department (OPD), the Eye Care Centre, and the Sexual Dysfunction Clinic.
CDEM is the vision of some of Sri Lanka’s leading medical professionals and is therefore not motivated by profits but by its objective of controlling diabetes and its many ill effects. We are committed to providing patients with the most complete care available in the country while creating a family atmosphere where patients will feel at home.
